What we integrate

Lighting that follows the guest.

Arrival scenes

The room welcomes the guest with the lighting your brand specifies the moment they enter.

Master off and keycard control

One touch at the door or bedside, or keycard removal, turns the room off.

Nightlights and bedside control

Low-level path lighting and bedside switching built to brand requirements.

Occupancy-based lighting

Lights switch off in empty rooms and bathrooms, using the same sensing as HVAC.

PMS and door lock links

Checkout switches lights off; entry triggers the arrival scene. Integration

FAQ

Lighting integration questions

Why does guestroom lighting need to meet brand requirements?
Many hotel brands define how guestroom lighting must behave: arrival scenes, master switching, nightlights, bedside control and occupancy behavior. We design the lighting integration to your brand’s current standard so the room passes brand review.
What lighting features can you integrate?
Arrival scenes, master on/off at the entry and bedside, keycard-enabled power, nightlights and path lighting, bathroom occupancy control, dimming and scene keypads, and lights-off on checkout.
Can lighting be tied to the thermostat and occupancy sensors?
Yes. The same occupancy, door and PMS signals that set back HVAC can turn lights off in an empty room and bring the arrival scene on at entry.
Does lighting integrate with the PMS?
Yes, through the GRMS. Checkout can switch lights off and sold status can prepare the room for arrival.
Can you add lighting control during a renovation or PIP?
Yes. Renovations and property improvement plans are the best time. We coordinate with your designer, electrical contractor and brand reviewer, and install around your occupancy.
Do you replace our fixtures?
Usually not. We integrate controls with your fixtures and circuits. If the brand standard calls for different control points, we specify exactly what changes.
Wired or wireless lighting control?
Wireless keypads and relays suit most retrofits. Wired suits new builds and deep renovations. We choose room by room.
Will guests find it confusing?
No. We design simple, clearly labeled controls and test every scene at commissioning, with a guest-first default on entry.
Does lighting integration save energy?
It reduces lights left on in empty rooms. Most guestroom savings come from HVAC, typically 20–35% with a 12–18 month payback. Results vary.
Do you work with all hotel brands?
Yes. All hotel brands, independent and boutique hotels, resorts and extended stay, across the USA and Canada.
